COMMENT ABOUT PONYO

getting cooler now.
but don't get cold like me ;(

well, I think you know the movie, "PONYO"
ponyo is a goldfish at first, but after meeting So-suke (human boy), ponyo wants to become a human girl.

in 2009, my Australian friends watched this movie, and they said that
"she is so cute!!" (and they said "Ponyo, So-suke, suki" all the time..lol)
but others said
"she is very annoying!!" (and they mimicked ponyo "Ponyo, ningen ni naru" repeatedly...)
I understand because ponyo talks very childish.

btw, do you know O-hashi Nozomi?

she sings ponyo song. ("PONYO, PONYO, PONYO sakana no ko.......")

before I watched this movie on the TV,

I thought she did dubbing of ponyo's voice (afureko).

but she didn't.

I don't know who did play ponyo's voice but made me uncomfortable.

Nozomi chan should play ponyo's voice I reckon.
what do you think?
sometimes happened that character and voice are mismatching because of using celebrity not voice artist and so on..

that makes us disappointing:(

but any way,
this is true that this movie got a lots of prizes.

that means, this movie is goooooooooooood!!

HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE

Hi!!

I'm going talk about 'Howl's Moving Castle'.

"Howl's Moving Castle" is the movie directed by Hayao Miyazaki that was shown in 2004.

story:
Sophie is an 18 years old girl who works as a small hatter. She dosen't have confidence to herself. One day, a witch casts a spell on Sophie; therefore she is changed into the figure of an old woman of 90 years old. She left her house and roamed through the wasteland until the huge moving castle appeared in front of her. Howl is the magician who lives in the castle with his apprentice, Markl, and he hired her as a cleaning lady. This castle is moving by Calcifer (the devil of the fire) who supply a magical power to Howl too. They spent the time like a family, and Sophie gradually got cheerful and active. She gets younger little by little.

They had a good time, but war is stalking them gradually. He hates the war but he wants to protect her and so he determined to go to the battlefield at last. She persuades Calcifer to move a castle in order to save him. But a castle collapsed. She recalls "the promise" that she has forgot. It happened on the night of falling stars. Howl, who was a child heard the voice that the gilr with silver hair shouts, "wait on the future". She noticed that he waited for her, even if tormented by an a cursed fate. Then she hugged him, but his life was going to burn out...

It is said that Totoro is the god of DEATH and

Nekobasu is a vehicle which carry the spirits.

In the middle of the film, Mei and Satsuki's shadows are gone...

And when Satsuki found the little sandals, she lies "it's not Mei's."

But it was.

Then, Satsuki went to ask Totoro to take me to Mei. Then here, Nekobasu was coming.

everyone can't see Nekobasu except people who has die or is dying.

then at last, their mother said they smiled on the tree.

But their father didn't realize. why? Because she is dying.

Then why Mei and Satsuki are living in the STORY?

well, because their father wanted them to live.

and he wrote the story of them. you know that!

THE BORROWER ARRIETTY

Hi, everyone!

Today, I'm going to talk about the new Ghibli film.

"KARIGURASHI NO ARRIETTY" (The Borrower Arrietty)

It will open in theaters on Jury 17, 2010 which is the next Saturday!!

story:

14-year-old Arrietty (tiny people) lives with her parents under the floorboards of the old house. And they make their own home from items "borrowed" from the house's human inhabitants.

However, when Sho, the 12-year-old human boy, discovers Arrietty while recuperating from a illness at the old house in which his mother was raised, life changes for her family. Because there is a rule that they have to move when they are seen by human. And this is so dangerous for them. But....

I want to see it as soon as I can. Go to the theater to watch "Karigurashi no Arrietty"!!

WHAT I BOUGHT

two or three weeks ago, I went to Umeda.
then, I found "Donguri Kyo-wakoku" (Ghibli shop).

There are a lot of sweet things in there!!

And of course, there are Jiji's goods too!

I couldn't decide soon what I can buy or what I have to buy,

because everything is so cute.

Finally, I bought the following three goods.

a red ribbon turban♥♥ (￥1,260)

Jiji strap♥♥ (￥945)

I want to buy more and more and more...

WHAT A GREAT COMPOSER!!

Hi!!

Today, I introduce Joe Hisaishi.

He is a famous composer and he is indispensable for GHIBLI films.

Do you know what did his name come from?

His real name is not Hisaishi Joe but he had to make new name.

Then, he came up with Hisaishi Joe,and that's come from "Quincy Jones" who is his favorite artist.

He made many unforgettable music such as "Merry-Go-Round"(Howl no Ugoku Shiro), "Kimi wo Nosete"(Tenku- no Shiro Laputa), "Umi no Mieru Machi"(Majo no Takkyu-bin)and more and more and more...

His music always impresses me deeply.

This weekend, I watched this DVD.
"HISAISHI JOE in BUDOUKAN ~miyazaki anime to tomoniayunda 25nenkan~"
The concert was held in 2008.
There are more than 1,000 people including orchestra, chorus and soloist.

It was fabulous!!!
