this year is passing very quick.

ok, let's start today's topic which is
"interesting report".



I found very interesting report at mixi news.





Suzuki Toshio who is a movie producer is talking about GHIBLI's movie.



Most interesting topic is how to create characters.
I think you notice that Ghibli's characters are looks same.
So hairstyle is very important.




He gave a example. "KIKI's Delivery Service"






Kiki was created when Hayao Miyazaki and he went for a walk because they couldn't think about Character's character.
And then Miyazaki came up with Kiki's ribbon.

He said, "Let's her ribbon bigger because the ribbon is protecting her. she doesn't become independence yet, so the ribbon represents her weakness."




And he also said, "Jiji (talkative cat) is always beside her.

Why?

Because she can can talk to him what she is thinking or feeling in her mind. therefore at the end, Jiji doesn't talk because Kiki grows up."
